Reminder of the meeting tonight. The deadline for comments officially passed on Thursday, but Camden's planning officers are still accepting objections to this development.
The Mansfield Bowling club application is the topic of a public meeting tonight, called by residents' groups and the Dartmout Park Conservation Area Advisory Committee. Unfortunately I can't make it, but if you haven't put an objection in yet, this is a good way to find out the most effective thing to say to help get the application turned down.
Details of public meeting: Sunday 10th May - 7pm - York Rise Church Hall
If you want to make an objection now, you can still do this by writing to the planning officer directly at Kathryn.Moran@camden.gov.uk - quote reference 2015/1444/P.
The most effective thing to say is what leisure uses you personally, or your children, sports club, school or community group, would make use of on the site. This will provide clear evidence to the planning officers and committee members that the site's designation as an Asset of Community Value for being an open space for leisure should not be overturned to make way for the new development.
