New evidence suggests that our original reservations about the herbicide glyphosate - sold as Roundup, Rodeo Aquatic Herbicide and Eraser, were correct and so we must redouble our efforts to persuade Camden Council to stop using this toxic product.
The City of London Corporation have stopped using sprayed pesticides and herbicides on Hampstead Heath, so why are we still using them in the rest of Camden?
The Camden Green Party have teamed up with PAN-UK, The Pesticide Action Network to promote not just the end of the Council's use of such toxic substances on our green spaces but to campaign for a London wide collaboration between similar organisations across our city.
Speaking at the 19 June Camden Green Party meeting, PAN-UK Policy Officer Nick Mole outlined plans for a strategy for how we can move things forward in Camden and also join up with a wider movement across London.
Let's join Hammersmith & Fulham, Brighton, Lewes, Edinburgh and cities across the globe who have already ditched this toxic chemical and whose citizens can now breathe a little easier as a result.
